The short version
We only recommend products we believe are safe and appropriate for French Bulldogs specifically. Some links on this site are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you buy through them. This never changes our evaluation standard, our verdicts, or our rankings. Products we earn nothing from regularly outrank affiliate products when they fit better.
How affiliate links work on this site
When you click certain product links and make a purchase, the merchant pays us a small percentage as a referral commission. You pay the same price you would pay anyway — the commission comes out of the merchant’s margin, not your pocket.
Affiliate links may appear in reviews, buying guides, gear roundups, and product comparison pages. They are the primary way this site funds its research, writing, and hosting.
Our editorial standard — unchanged by compensation
- Same criteria for every product. Affiliate and non-affiliate products are evaluated identically: breed-specific fit, airway safety, heat risk, durability, value, and practicality.
- No pay-for-placement. Merchants cannot buy a better verdict, a higher ranking, or inclusion in a roundup.
- Limitations stay visible. Every recommendation includes who should skip it and what the tradeoffs are.
- Non-affiliate options win when they’re better. If a product we earn nothing from beats an affiliate product for your situation, we say so.
